Syracuse AV support
Sensational Events is a Syracuse audio visual company supporting meetings, campus programs, nonprofit galas, ceremonies, concerts, and venue-based events across Central New York. We provide audio, lighting, media display, livestreaming, and CART support, along with the crew to plan, set, operate, and strike the show cleanly.
Our work ranges from a single podium-and-screen setup to full-room production with stage lighting, multiple displays, wireless microphones, camera systems, and dedicated operators. The goal stays the same: equipment sized for the room, a calm crew, and a run of show that feels organized before guests arrive.
Clients bring us in when the event cannot feel improvised. We show up early, coordinate with the venue, test everything before doors, and stay through the final cue and breakdown.

30+ years in live events
The company grew out of more than 30 years of live-event experience in weddings, entertainment, ceremonies, and stage production across Central New York. Long before we were supporting campus programs and corporate conferences, we were learning how to read a room, manage timing, and keep a show moving without adding friction for the client.
That background still shapes how we operate today. We care about clear audio, readable screens, lighting that fits the venue, and setups that make sense for the budget. Over time the gear expanded into multi-camera video, livestreaming, media display, and accessibility support, but the job stayed the same: make the event feel smooth.

Production support for in-room and hybrid events
When clients needed remote access during the pandemic, we added livestreaming, multi-camera capture, and post-production to support events that could no longer rely on in-room attendance alone. That work remains a core part of what we do for universities, nonprofits, and organizations that need a strong hybrid or recorded experience.
Today we support venues and institutions including Syracuse University, Le Moyne College, NVRC, Drumlins, and Hendricks Chapel. Some events need us to integrate with in-house systems; others need full production from load-in to strike. We do both.
What stays consistent is the approach: plan around the room, the audience, and the run of show; bring the gear the event actually needs; and keep experienced technicians with the event from setup through breakdown.

Businesses, universities, hotels, hospitals, and nonprofit organizations across Syracuse and Central New York.
Trusted by venues, campuses, and planners
We regularly support events at venues and institutions across Syracuse and Central New York, including Drumlins Country Club, Syracuse University spaces, NVRC, Hendricks Chapel, Marriott Syracuse Downtown, and Le Moyne College. That repeat work reflects trust, venue familiarity, and the ability to adapt to very different event types.
Some clients call us for donor dinners and award programs. Others need campus ceremonies, academic conferences, speaker series, or livestreamed events with accessibility support. The common denominator is that they need the technical side handled cleanly.
Because we know the rooms, the load-in realities, and the pace of live programs, we can scope faster, coordinate earlier, and keep event day calmer for the people running it.

How we work on event day
Clients can expect a crew that arrives prepared, protects the schedule, and keeps communication clear. We test before guests arrive, keep cable paths and backstage workflow tidy, and stay available when presenters, coordinators, or venue staff need quick changes.
We are not interested in overselling gear or making a simple event feel complicated. The goal is a right-sized system, a reliable show, and an experience that feels professional in the room and on camera.
